GENERAL INFORMATIONS

The Postgraduate Program (MSc) titled "Psychotherapy: Theoretical Frameworks, Clinical Applications, and Comparative Approaches" has been operating since the academic year 2021-2022 and is supported by the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.


The MSc program accepts university graduates from the Departments of Medicine, Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, and related fields from domestic institutions or equivalent recognized institutions abroad, as well as graduates of Higher Technological Educational Institutes (A.T.E.I.) in relevant disciplines (Law 4485/2017, Article 34).The maximum number of admitted students is set at 50 in total.


A new admission cycle is announced every two years.


Lectures are held in every Wednesday and Friday in the evening hours at 25 Alexandroupoleos Street.

The duration of study leading to the award of the Master’s Degree is set at four (4) academic semesters, including the time required for the completion of the thesis. An extension may be granted upon a justified request by the student and approval by the Assembly or the Program Committee. The extension cannot exceed two semesters. Thus, the maximum allowed time for program completion is six (6) academic semesters.
